PMT is hiring a Quality Manager to join our team in San Antonio, Texas.
This role will be responsible for overseeing and advancing the organization's quality assurance and control functions across all operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure full compliance with ISO 9001:2015, AS9100, and Nadcap requirements.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing Quality team, fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Use data-driven KPIs to identify trends, reduce variability, and drive measurable improvements in quality performance.
- Coordinate and conduct internal and external audits; address and correct non-compliance issues swiftly and effectively.
- Serve as the primary contact for customer quality inquiries and audits; oversee supplier quality and implement strategies for improvement.
- Lead root cause analysis of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions to ensure long-term resolution.
- Prepare and deliver clear, insightful quality performance reports to senior leadership with recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Quality Management, ideally in aerospace manufacturing.
- 5+ years in a leadership or managerial capacity with a track record of building and leading successful teams.
- Deep understanding and experience implementing ISO 9001:2015, AS9100, and Nadcap quality standards.
- Proficient in quality tools and methodologies for root cause analysis, corrective actions, and performance tracking.
- Strong communicator with the ability to present complex data and strategies to executive leadership and customers.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align quality goals with broader organizational objectives.
