Duties
- Prepare high-quality pizzas and food items according to established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, payments, and cashiering duties
- Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food handling, bussing tables, and kitchen surfaces
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure timely food preparation and delivery to customers
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change or totals
- Follow food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe dining environment for guests and staff
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service & fast food restaurant environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations
- Ability to perform cashiering duties with basic math skills for transactions and retail math understanding
- Previous restaurant or café experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for the food industry is essential
