Job Summary
The Part-Time Nurse & Weight Loss Counselor will provide direct patient care while guiding patients throughout their medical weight loss journey. This role combines clinical nursing responsibilities with health coaching, patient education, and ongoing support to help patients achieve long-term success.

Responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities
- Review medical history and current medications.
- Administer injections, including GLP-1 medications, vitamin injections, and other treatments.
- Educate patients on medication administration, expected outcomes, and potential side effects.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate concerns to the provider.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all clinical protocols.
- Assist with inventory management and medication preparation.
Weight Loss Counseling
- Conduct follow-up weight loss consultations.
- Provide nutrition and lifestyle education.
- Help patients establish realistic health and weight loss goals.
- Offer accountability, encouragement, and motivation throughout treatment.
- Educate patients on exercise, hydration, sleep, stress management, and healthy habits.
- Celebrate patient milestones and assist with overcoming barriers to success.
- Develop strong, trusting relationships with patients.
Qualifications
Required:
- Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Phlebotomy experience
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Passion for health, wellness, and preventive care.
Preferred:
- Experience in weight loss medicine, primary care, family medicine, endocrinology, wellness, or aesthetics.
- Experience with GLP-1 medications (Semaglutide, Tirzepatide).
- Previous health coaching or patient education experience.
