We are a growing commercial real estate company specializing in the ownership and management of industrial properties in Silicon Valley. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an early-career accounting professional looking to gain hands-on experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, and commercial property operations.
Responsibilities
- Record daily accounting transactions accurately and timely.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
- Organize invoices, receipts, and accounting documentation.
- Assist with tenant billing, rent collection, and payment tracking.
- Support payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
- Prepare financial reports for management.
- Work with external CPAs during tax preparation and annual audits.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable regulations.
- Perform other administrative and accounting duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or expected graduation within six months).
- Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in related Softwares.
