Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities. Your duties will include performing various cleaning tasks, ensuring the overall cleanliness of the premises, and assisting with facilities maintenance.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste materials properly
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and break rooms
- Perform floor care duties such as buffing and waxing floors
- Follow established cleaning procedures to ensure high standards of cleanliness
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures
- Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing and waxing
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
