Thompson House is a small rehab and long term care facility in Brattleboro, VT. We are looking for a Residential Care Aide Per Diem. This would include a mixture of all shifts. MAT/LNA/CNA are not required to start working in our Residential care portion of the facility! The residential care aide would be working with one nurse , they would both be responsible for an 11 resident bed unit.
Job Description: Residential Care Nursing Assistant
Duties:
- Assist with the daily care and needs of patients under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Provide basic patient care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Assist with patient mobility and transfers.
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages, including children.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures.
- Familiarity with Point Click Care
