Procedures include advanced mechanical ventilation with pressure and volume control, continuous ventilation modes, and other complex respiratory therapy interventions

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM on variable days

13-week contract

Minimum of 2 years of Respiratory Care experience

Hospital setting experience required; ICU experience is a must

Active Maine Respiratory Care Practitioner license required (license required if applicable)

Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and CRT or RRT certification required

Evaluate and participate in diagnostic and therapeutic clinical procedures for patients with respiratory-related conditions per physician orders

Provide advanced assessment, care, and patient education in Respiratory Therapy

Monitor and manage complex life support and mechanical ventilator systems for acute and chronically ill patients

Participate as a member of the cardiac arrest team and respond to emergency situations
