We are seeking a Kennel Attendant to join our team.
Job Summary:
In this role, you are responsible for overseeing, care, feeding, watering, bathing, exercising, or otherwise caring for pets including dogs.
Job Responsibilities:
· Overseeing the safety and well-being of our all dogs using our facility to board.
· Maintain positive and professional attitude and communication with clients, co-workers, management and pets.
· Maintain the cleanliness of facility.
· Exercise animals in designated areas.
· Feed and water animals.
· Maintain appropriate record keeping.
· Read, recognize and comprehend written information and follow written instructions.
· Perform animal grooming duties including washing, drying and brushing.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
· High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Skills and Abilities:
· Must have an honest passion for the care of animals.
· Positive and professional attitude.
· Ability to read and comprehend and follow written instructions.
· Ability to write simple correspondence.
· Basic math skills.
· Apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
· Ability to interact with dogs and cats.
· Physically fit, good hearing and good vision.
· Able to regularly lift / move 25 pounds and frequently lift / move 50 pounds.
- Know basic computer skills.
