Position Title: Special Education Teacher for Therapeutic Classroom (STARS)Location: Warren Community Elementary SchoolReports To: Principal / Director of Student Support ServicesFunded By: General Budget Program overview: A specialized therapeutic classroom for students with social, emotional, or behavioral needs. The highly structured and supportive setting has a low student-to-teacher ratio. Instruction is individualized and delivered in small groups to maximize student engagement and success. Curriculum is adapted to the grade level.Position Summary: Seeking a collaborative, dedicated, and compassionate special education teacher to lead instruction, assessment, and build a community.
The ideal candidate will possess strong classroom management skills, therapeutic teaching techniques, and a passion for helping students develop social-emotional resilience while accessing academic instruction.
