Responsibilities
- Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and prosthodontics with precision and care.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging.
- Administer dental treatments such as root canal therapy, dental extractions, and oral surgery procedures following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and dental office standards.
- Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients.
- Ensure the highest standards of patient care by adhering to infection control guidelines and utilizing advanced dental technology such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix software for record management.
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice dentistry as an Associate Dentist.
- Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and medical imaging techniques.
- Experience with dental fabrication processes and root canal therapy procedures.
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs compassionately and thoroughly.
- Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice environments.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Pay: $200,000.00 - $275,000.00 per year
