About the Role
As a Security Guard, you will play a critical role in protecting our customers, staff, property, and assets. You will be responsible for monitoring facilities, conducting routine patrols, controlling access, verifying ID’s, responding to incidents, clean spills, remove garbage, clean tables at the end of the night and place chairs on top before closing the venue. Maintaining a secure and safe environment while providing professional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned stations on foot.
- Verify identification for guest entry to the venue.
- Monitor intoxication levels and report any suspicious activity to on-site management.
- Promptly fill out incident report paperwork as necessary and turn it into management.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and security incidents.
- Communicate as a team to secure the entire facility.
- Clean spills and remove garbage.
- Clean table tops and place chairs on tables at the end of the night.
- Investigate suspicious activities and document findings accurately.
- Complete daily activity reports and incident reports as needed.
- Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and site regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify security or safety concerns.
- Assist visitors, staff, and contractors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Communicate with emergency services if ever needed on site by securing the environment and providing a clear pathway to the incident.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company with integrity.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Security Guard License (where required by state or local law).
- Communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred:
- Previous security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Respond quickly during emergency situations.
Uniforms
- Security patch, tactical vest, and radio provided.
- All black attire, no sweatpants.
- Black shoes, preferably non-slip.
Pay: $22.00 per hour
