Position Overview
Elite Care Central is seeking a dependable, organized, professional, and compassionate Care Coordinator / Administrative Coordinator to support the daily operations of our home care organization.
This is an office based position that combines client and family communication, employee compliance tracking, telephone support, administrative coordination, documentation follow up, and general operational support.
The ideal candidate is someone who takes initiative, communicates professionally, stays organized, follows through on assignments, and can manage multiple responsibilities without requiring constant supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming telephone calls professionally and promptly
- Route calls, take accurate messages, and ensure appropriate follow up
- Communicate with clients and families regarding routine questions, services, schedules, documentation, and other administrative matters
- Assist with resolving routine client and family concerns and appropriately escalate significant concerns to management
- Track employee compliance requirements and expiration dates
- Follow up with employees regarding outstanding or expiring documents, certifications, training, TB screenings, CPR/First Aid requirements, and other required records
- Maintain organized compliance tracking systems
- Assist with caregiver and nursing staff scheduling and schedule related communication as assigned
- Follow up on missing documentation, timesheets, service documentation, and other required records
- Assist with onboarding and orientation processes for new employees and contractors
- Communicate reminders, deadlines, and administrative requirements to staff
- Maintain accurate electronic and administrative records
- Assist with client intake and collection of required information
- Contact clients and families regarding communication, documentation, service coordination, and compliance needs
- Complete assigned operational and administrative tasks
- Prepare lists of office or program supplies that need to be ordered for management review
- Assist with maintaining organized office workflows and daily task lists
- Monitor assigned tasks through completion rather than simply forwarding issues to management
- Maintain confidentiality of client, employee, and organizational information
- Follow HIPAA requirements and company confidentiality policies
- Provide professional customer service to clients, families, caregivers, nurses, applicants, and community partners
- Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned
What This Position Does Not Include
This position does not include payroll processing or independent financial management responsibilities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree preferred but not required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Previous administrative, healthcare, home care, medical office, scheduling, customer service, or care coordination experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and follow through skills
- Comfortable communicating with clients, families, caregivers, nurses, and management
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using computers, email, electronic documentation systems, spreadsheets, and web based applications
- Ability to learn new software and administrative processes
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities throughout the workday
- Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential
Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate should be able to identify incomplete tasks, follow up appropriately, document actions taken, communicate concerns, and help keep daily operations moving efficiently.
Because this position involves communication with clients and families, professionalism, patience, empathy, and good judgment are extremely important.

Compensation
Starting pay: $18.00 per hour
A performance review will be conducted after approximately 90 days. Compensation may be reviewed based on demonstrated performance, reliability, ability to independently manage assigned responsibilities, compliance tracking, client communication, and overall contribution to daily operations.

This is a professional office based position supporting a growing home care organization. The Care Coordinator / Administrative Coordinator plays an important role in helping ensure that clients, families, caregivers, nurses, and administrative operations remain organized and supported.
