We are currently seeking an experienced Paving Screwman to join our growing asphalt paving crew. This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and control the screed on asphalt paving machines
- Set and maintain proper grade and slope for asphalt placement
- Work closely with the paving foreman and crew to ensure quality workmanship
- Adjust screed settings for proper thickness and smoothness
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment
- Follow all job site safety regulations and procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a paving screwman/screed operator
- Strong understanding of asphalt paving processes and equipment
- Ability to read grade stakes and work to specifications
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus, but not required)
