Job Description
Orono Commons is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents according to care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes to the RN or provider.
- Perform assessments, vital signs, wound care, and other nursing procedures.
- Assist with ADLs and promote resident comfort, safety, and dignity.
- Document nursing care accurately in the medical record.
- Collaborate with CNAs, RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow infection-control, safety, and facility policies.
Requirements
- Active Maine LPN license.
- Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience preferred.
- Strong communication and clinical skills.
- Ability to work the 6:30 AM–7:00 PM shift.
Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
