Responsible for verification of form setup accuracy, concrete quality, concrete strength and cable tension. Follow proper practices per American Concrete Institute (ACI) and Precast Concrete Institute (PCI).
Essential Functions

Read and follow blueprints
-
Check forms for accuracy including dimension, details and returns

Verify reinforcing, hardware placement and hardware size
-
Work with engineering, drafting and production staff to rectify discrepancies

Use equipment and tools properly and safely
-
Verify cable tensions per PCI tolerances
-
Test concrete air, slump, temperature and cylinders
-
Perform lab duties, including break cylinders, rock sieves, and other duties as needed per ACI requirements and specifications

Keep QC office, lab and testing area clean
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Working knowledge of PCI tolerances and ACI standards

Working knowledge of Molin SF Standards and finishes

Bending at waist and/or working in a kneeling position
- Working in adverse weather conditions, including heat and cold

Walking on uneven surfaces, climb ladders and work on platform

Understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions

Ability to accurately use tape measure

Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.

Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination.

Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work.

Work Context

Regularly works near moving objects and in climate conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and concrete.
- Noise level may be loud, hearing protection may be required

Wear respirator when working in acid finishing bay

Safety/Steel toe boots, hardhat and safety glasses required

Lift 25 pounds regularly, 40 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally
