Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of vehicles, including vans and sedans ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure optimal operating conditions.
- Communicate effectively with passengers regarding routes, schedules, and any changes in service.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing support as needed.
- Manage schedules efficiently to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
- Document any incidents or issues encountered during trips and report them to management as necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns promptly.
Skills
- Experience in paratransit or shuttle driving is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills to enhance passenger experience.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with passengers and team members.
- Previous experience in commercial driving, school bus driving, delivery driving, or bus driving is a plus.
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and safe driving practices.
- Strong organizational skills to manage schedules and routes effectively.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
