Position Summary
We are seeking a talented Intermediate Interior Designer with 4–7 years of professional experience to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a designer who is confident in managing project tasks independently, has strong technical and organizational skills, and is passionate about high-end residential design / furnishing.
The Intermediate Interior Designer will work closely with the Principal and project team through all phases of design, from concept development through construction administration and installation.
Responsibilities
- Develop design concepts, furniture plans, and presentation materials.
- Produce and coordinate drawing sets, including plans, elevations, and detailing.
- Select and specify material finishes, furniture, fixtures, lighting, and accessories.
- Create FF&E schedules, specification packages, and procurement documentation.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and fabricators.
- Manage furniture order, tracking, and procurement
- Review shop drawings, submittals, and finish samples for design intent.
- Conduct site visits, field measurements, and installation oversight.
- Assist with project schedules, furniture budgeting, and order tracking.
- Prepare client presentations and support client meetings with clear and professional communication.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, maintaining schedules, budgets, and client communication effectively
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- 4–7 years of professional interior design experience, preferably in high-end residential projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD required.
- Experience with Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office required.
- Experience with Houzz Ivy, Studio Designer, or Designer Advantage software required.
- Strong knowledge of construction documentation, detailing,
- Strong knowledge of FF&E & Procurement
- Excellent graphic, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and detail-oriented.
