Responsibilities
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, bathing, dressing, and mobility for children and individuals with disabilities
- Support early childhood development through engaging activities, teaching, and behavior management strategies
- Provide attentive care for infants and toddlers, including feeding schedules, diapering, and sleep routines
- Create a safe environment by monitoring activities and ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Collaborate with families or guardians to understand individual needs and preferences
- Implement educational activities aligned with early childhood education standards to promote learning and growth
- Maintain detailed records of care provided, developmental milestones, and any concerns or incidents
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities in childcare settings, daycare centers, or as a nanny or babysitter
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques
- CHAMPS Account holder will get priority.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and team members
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as lifting or assisting with mobility
- Familiarity with classroom experience or early childhood education practices is preferred
- Compassionate attitude combined with patience, adaptability, and a genuine desire to support others

Pay: $17.13 - $18.00 per hour
