Job Description:
IT and Business Systems Specialist
This position will manage Microsoft 365 administration, internal IT support, coordination with the company's managed IT service provider (MSP), support and enhancement of PCC's internal project management and business database system, employee onboarding and offboarding, cybersecurity training, computer setup, and the practical use of AI to improve IT support and business efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Administer Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Microsoft Entra
- Create, disable, lock, and update employee accounts
- Reset passwords and Microsoft Authenticator methods
- Assign and remove Microsoft 365 licenses
- Manage shared mailboxes, email delegation, and forwarding
- Complete IT onboarding and offboarding for employees
- Provide day-to-day technical support for computers, email, software, printers, VPN, and user access
- Submit, monitor, and coordinate support requests with the company's managed IT service provider (MSP)
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance PCC's internal project management and business database system, including reports, forms, and data
- Support larger system enhancement projects and reporting initiatives
- Manage KnowBe4 security awareness training and employee cybersecurity communications
- Coordinate computer purchasing, setup, deployment, and inventory
- Review suspicious emails and assist employees with phishing and cybersecurity concerns
- Identify and implement practical AI solutions to improve IT support, documentation, reporting, and business processes
- Help employees adopt AI tools safely and effectively while protecting company and customer information
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency
- Maintain documentation for systems, procedures, and ongoing IT projects
Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and general IT support
- Knowledge of Exchange Online and Microsoft Entra
- Experience supporting business applications or database systems (Microsoft Access and basic SQL preferred)
- Familiarity with AI tools, automation, or process improvement
- Ability to identify practical uses of AI to improve business operations
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with employees, management, managed IT service providers (MSPs), software vendors, and developers
- Ability to manage confidential company and employee information
