We are seeking a dependable Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct ABA services to children and families in the Kendall area, including communities near The Falls, Dadeland, Pinecrest, and surrounding neighborhoods.
In this role, you will work directly with clients to help them develop practical skills in communication, social interaction, self-care, emotional regulation, and daily independence. Sessions may take place in the client’s home, school, or community, depending on the treatment plan and family needs.
You will receive ongoing supervision from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), who will guide treatment implementation, review progress, and provide clinical support. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, reliable, and comfortable working independently while remaining closely connected to the clinical team.
>> Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized ABA therapy according to the treatment plan created by the supervising BCBA.
- Teach replacement behaviors, communication skills, social skills, and functional daily living skills.
- Use reinforcement, prompting, modeling, and other approved ABA techniques during sessions.
- Monitor client behavior and document progress using accurate and objective data.
- Complete session notes and required clinical documentation within established deadlines.
- Report significant changes, concerns, or barriers to the supervising BCBA.
- Work collaboratively with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other members of the treatment team.
- Follow all safety procedures, behavior protocols, ethical requirements, and confidentiality standards.
- Attend scheduled supervision sessions, staff meetings, and required training.
- Maintain professional boundaries and create a positive, supportive environment for each client.
>> Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Behavior Technician certification.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to travel throughout Kendall, The Falls, Dadeland, Pinecrest, and nearby Miami communities.
- Reliable transportation and consistent availability for assigned cases.
- Ability to work in homes, schools, and community-based environments.
- Strong written communication and documentation skills.
- Comfortable collecting data and following detailed behavior intervention plans.
- Ability to stay calm, focused, and professional when responding to challenging behaviors.
- Willingness to accept feedback and make adjustments based on BCBA supervision.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.
- Previous experience working with children, individuals with autism, or people with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.
- Must meet all background screening, employment eligibility, and onboarding requirements.
- Must protect client privacy and follow HIPAA, BACB, and company policies.
