Job Title: Production Supervisor
Location: Caledonia, MI
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Monday to Friday, weekend work if required based on volume)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage a production division from raw materials to finished product ensuring schedules are met
- Lead and develop a team of 20-30 hourly employees focusing on performance training and development
- Participate in a leadership rotational program
- Collaborate with Operations Managers to control costs and meet corporate goals
- Ensure compliance with safety environmental and labor regulations
- Drive quality improvements and customer satisfaction
- Provide coverage for Operations Managers and lead special projects as needed
- Maintain flexibility to move between manufacturing areas based on business needs
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of proven leadership and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of production processes quality systems and safety standards
- Desired Skills and Experience:
- Strong initiative and ability to work under pressure
- Bachelor's degree or military equivalent experience
- Familiarity with engineering methods and capacity analysis
- Lean manufacturing
- Ability to adapt quickly and lead through change
- Experience leading cross-functional projects
