Nob Hill Dental is a privately owned dental practice focused on high-quality, conservative, long-lasting dentistry. We are seeking an experienced dental assistant who is reliable, detail-oriented, and interested in building a long-term position in a professional clinical environment.
Job Description
The dental assistant will work chairside with the doctor to support efficient, high-standard dental care. This role is ideal for someone who values consistency, takes ownership of their work, and is looking for a stable, long-term role with room for growth.
Responsibilities
- Chairside assisting during restorative, cosmetic, and general dental procedures
- Preparing and breaking down operatories efficiently
- Maintaining strict sterilization and infection control protocols
- Taking diagnostic-quality dental radiographs and intraoral photos
- Assisting with impressions, temporaries, bonding, and material setup
- Managing instruments, supplies, and operatory organization
- Providing professional, attentive patient care
- Accurate clinical documentation in patient charts
- Supporting smooth daily clinical flow
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of chairside dental assisting experience (required)
- Oregon Dental Assistant certification (or ability to meet Oregon requirements)
- Radiology certification required
- Strong understanding of dental procedures and materials
- Excellent attention to detail and organization
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Desire to work in one practice long term and grow with the office
Schedule
- Monday–Thursday
- 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Rarely (1-2 times per year) Friday
