We are seeking a motivated, proactive, enthusiastic, and positive attitude Store Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of Pets Earth in Papillion, providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their shopping needs. You will play a vital part in driving sales and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities are, but not limited-to:
- Ensure that each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a guest friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service.
- Analyze and measure business trends; develop and implement plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed goals and objectives.
- Control shrink, expenses and payroll.
- Ensure appropriate merchandise stock levels by working with the Inventory Director, merchandise adjacencies and presentations; signing, and assortment in all departments; ensure selling floor is adequately stocked.
- Review department/store trends and recommend and initiate changes for maximizing goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures through regular store management and staff meetings, store walk-through and audits, etc.
- Continually evaluate and react to employee performance issues and actively recruit management candidates.
- Train and develop store management in all aspects of the business; direct and monitor training and development for all store personnel.
- Overall store cleaning and organization: stay proactive, a long with, manage the team through delegation and processes to ensure a well-maintained store presentation.
- Overall store engagement and camaraderie: engage with customers/clients and all stakeholders along with keeping a high morale within the store.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of work-related experience (Preferred)
Requirements
This job requires employees to lift up to 50+ lbs. Also, will be required to run a register, answer phones, schedule grooming appointments, clean and maintain the store floor, clean and maintain a self-serve wash, laundry, and stocking items on the store floor.
