We are seeking a motivated and dependable veterinary assistant who is looking to utilize their skills and create a positive work environment. Many of our clients have been coming for years, and we are now with our third generation returning to us. We pride ourselves in being more than a business to our clients - we like to think of them as friends and family.
If you are an assistant who wants to do more, or someone who would like to become an assistant but has not had any training, we may be the place for you! Not only will your job duties include what is allowed by law, you will also need to help in all positions from answering the phone to maintaining a clean clinic and do it all knowing you are part of a team!
Though we like to keep a calm environment for our furbabies when they are visiting, we do have our times of chaos. Because of this, we need someone who makes multitasking look easy.
We have a lift table so no need to hurt your back! However, lifting pets and carrying food is part of the job. You must also be able to get yourself off the floor after restraining.
Documenting conversations and updating patient records accurately and professionally is a must. Our software is Avimark.
Our hours are 9 am to 5:30 pm. We would need you Monday through Thursday. Pay DOE.
