Established in 1976, our retail store is one of the most popular destinations in town. We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our retail sales team and help customers find items that they love. The successful candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and be able to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Follow company policies for selling and displaying merchandise.
- Help customers find merchandise.
- Assist customers in finding items in the store's computer database.
- Know the locations of items in the store.
- Work in a team-oriented environment with other sales associates, stock clerks, cashiers, and managers.
- Know the store's operating hours and layout.
- Protect the store's assets, such as its offerings and inventory, from damage or theft.
Qualifications
Like to see if have previous ups store associate experience
Must be able to get notary
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on enhancing the shopping experience
- Proficient in retail sales and cash handling, including experience with cash registers
- Basic math skills and familiarity with retail math for accurate transactions
- Effective communication skills to engage with customers and team members
- Experience with stocking and merchandising to maintain store presentation
- Knowledge of grocery store operations is a plus
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, enhancing customer interaction.
