The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating and treating patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, or post-surgical conditions in an outpatient setting. The role focuses on improving mobility, reducing pain, and restoring function through customized therapy programs.
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapy, exercises, and rehabilitation techniques
- Treat conditions such as injuries, chronic pain, and post-surgical recovery
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
- Ensure a safe and effective therapy environment
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent
- Valid Physical Therapist license
- CPR/BLS Certification (preferred)
- 1–3+ years of experience in outpatient physical therapy (preferred)
