We are seeking a detail-oriented CNC Operator / Laser Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Northeast Austin. The ideal candidate has experience operating CNC routers, laser cutting equipment, or similar automated manufacturing machinery and takes pride in producing high-quality, precision components.

Job Responsibilities
- Operate CNC routers, laser cutting machines, and other automated manufacturing equipment to produce custom architectural panels and components.
- Set up machines, load materials, and verify machine settings according to production requirements.
- Read and interpret shop drawings, production drawings, cut files, and work orders.
- Use CAD/CAM files and CNC software to produce accurate parts according to specifications.
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and squares to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
- Make adjustments to machine settings to optimize production quality and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate production records and communicate any quality or equipment issues.
- Follow all safety procedures, material handling requirements, and company quality standards.
- Assist with other production tasks as needed.

Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating CNC routers, laser cutters, or similar manufacturing equipment.
- Experience in woodworking, millwork, cabinetry, architectural fabrication, sign manufacturing, metal fabrication, or similar industries preferred.
- Ability to read and understand shop drawings, technical drawings, and production instructions.
- Basic understanding of CAD/CAM files and CNC machine operation.
- Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers and measuring devices.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn manufacturing software.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CNC programming or machine setup.
- Experience with CNC software such as VCarve, EnRoute, LightBurn, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar programs.
- Experience with material handling equipment such as forklifts is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, push, pull, and reach in all directions.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when operating machinery.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 35–40 hours per week
