Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to understand their insurance needs and recommend suitable coverage options across health, life, property, and casualty insurance lines.
- Manage client inquiries via phone, email, and in person with professionalism and clarity, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Assist clients with benefits administration, policy updates, claims processing, and coverage explanations to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Utilize CRM systems proficiently to track client interactions, follow-ups, and sales opportunities for ongoing relationship building.
- Conduct outside sales efforts by reaching out to prospective clients through community engagement and networking events to expand our client base.
- Negotiate policy terms with clients while ensuring compliance with insurance regulations and company policies.
- Support sales administration tasks such as preparing quotes, processing applications, and maintaining accurate records of client interactions.
- Stay informed about industry trends including health insurance regulations, commercial insurance products, and new market opportunities to provide expert advice.
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service within the insurance industry or related fields such as retail sales or outside sales.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual skills are a plus).
- Knowledge of various insurance types including health, life, property casualty, and commercial insurance products.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and analysis purposes.
- Ability to build rapport quickly with clients through effective communication and relationship management skills.
- Understanding of insurance regulation standards to ensure compliance in all client interactions.
- Analysis skills to assess client needs accurately and recommend appropriate coverage options.
- Experience in benefits administration or client communication roles is highly desirable.
