We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care in a juvenile correctional healthcare setting.
Location: Brooktondale, NY 14817
Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Provide nursing interventions and medication administration in accordance with established standards and treatment plans
Assess, monitor, and evaluate the overall health conditions of youth residents
Develop, review, and update nursing intervention plans
Maintain inventory of medications, controlled substances, and narcotics
Ensure nursing interventions are consistent with comprehensive treatment plans
Prepare accurate clinical and administrative reports
Maintain infection prevention and control standards
Participate in staff training and educational programs
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary medical treatment team to provide quality patient care
Qualifications
Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License and current registration required
Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
Excellent communication, organizational, and critical-thinking abilities
Experience in correctional, behavioral health, pediatric, or residential care is a plus
