Responsibilities:
- Manage a pipeline of loan files from receipt of purchase and sale contract to closing
- Manage communication with clients, real estate partners, processing, title/escrow, and any other need-to-know parties
- Maintain current file status communication with the client, real estate partners, and other need to know parties (twice weekly update emails to clients and partners)
- Understand & explain loan process and loan products to clients, answer questions, and overcome objections
- Work together with the team to give the client an amazing experience
- Work together with the loan officer to escalate borrower needs when necessary
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and events
- Ask for referrals throughout the process
- Relieve the Loan Officer of parts of the loan workflow including but not limited to: Completing initial file review, client introduction call, and requesting any trailing documents from the borrower
- Completing final income analysis before submittal to processing
- Work together with team members to ensure clean and complete file submission to processing
- Ordering appraisal, title and escrow, and other needed items (FHA case file, flood cert, etc)
- Discussing rate options with the borrower and locking loans per the team rate lock policy
- Requesting, reviewing, and uploading necessary supporting documents needed for processing and to satisfy underwriting conditions
- Working together with team members to answer underwriter questions and satisfy underwriter conditions
- Working together with the team to problem solve as issues arise and drive loan file to a successful on-time closing
- Answering any client questions regarding the process
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a loan processor or similar role at a local lender (not commercial bank)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Proficiency in mathematics
- Previous experience working with Encompass software desired
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
