Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential settings. Duties
- Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
- Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure peak performance and energy efficiency.
- Troubleshoot complex equipment problems related to HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) systems and implement effective repair solutions.
- Collaborate with clients to assess their needs, provide expert recommendations on HVAC design modifications or upgrades, and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete work orders promptly, and adhere to safety protocols including EPA certification requirements for refrigerant handling.
Qualifications
- Five years of experience in construction or service technician roles with a focus on HVAC system installation and repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters.
- Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, electrical diagnostics, and building automation systems.
- Knowledge of refrigeration cycles, ammonia refrigeration (preferred), air conditioning systems, and mechanical systems repair.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC/R equipment issues efficiently while maintaining high safety standards.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- EPA certification for refrigerant handling is required; additional certifications in electrical systems or HVAC are advantageous.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
