Full-Time Ministry & Market Coordinator

Position Summary
The Ministry & Market Coordinator provides leadership in two key areas of HUB 61’s mission:
- Overseeing the daily operations of HUB 61 Market, including volunteers, customers, donations, and merchandising.
- Walking alongside women in our housing program by providing mentorship, accountability, case management, and practical life support.
This role requires someone who enjoys leading people, building relationships, creating organized systems, and helping others experience healing and hope through Jesus Christ.
No two days look the same. One day you may be organizing volunteers and merchandising the store, and the next you may be helping a woman create a budget, preparing a lease, or furnishing her new apartment.
Primary ResponsibilitiesHUB 61 Market Leadership
- Welcome customers, donors, and volunteers with excellence and hospitality.
- Coordinate, supervise, and encourage volunteers throughout each shift.
- Recruit, train, and build relationships with new volunteers.
- Delegate daily projects and ensure work is completed efficiently.
- Operate the cash register and provide exceptional customer service.
- Receive, sort, price, and process donations.
- Organize, stock, and merchandise inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting shopping environment.
- Help develop and improve store procedures and operational systems.
- Work alongside leadership to accomplish ministry goals and maximize store impact.
Women’s Housing Ministry
- Build healthy mentoring relationships with women in the HUB 61 housing program.
- Provide Christ-centered encouragement, accountability, and discipleship.
- Conduct scheduled and random home visits.
- Administer random drug screenings according to program policies.
- Monitor the cleanliness and care of ministry homes.
- Collect program fees and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist participants in developing and following personal budgets.
- Coordinate move-ins, furniture, and household needs for new residents.
- Prepare leases, agreements, and required program documentation.
- Maintain confidential participant records.
- Connect women with community resources and supportive services.
- Communicate regularly with ministry leadership regarding participant progress and concerns.
Qualifications
- Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agreement with the mission and values of HUB 61.
- Passion for serving women and families in crisis.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to motivate, recruit, and lead volunteers.
- Comfortable balancing compassion with healthy accountability.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Case management, ministry, nonprofit, or social services experience is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and remain active throughout the workday.
- Ability to work Saturdays 9:45 am - 2:15 pm.
