Position: Integration Technician – Entry Level

General Job Description:
Entry level Systems Integration Technician position utilizing PTI hardware to enhance customer capabilities based on mission critical needs. Common tasks include system installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Prepare a timeline for project managing each job file with a schedule of milestones for development, installation, delivery of interface, testing, and final commissioning.
2. Effectively work and communicate with the PTI implementation team.
3. Develop and maintain field reports and records.
4. Escalate issues discovered during interface development which may impact delivery of customer projects.
5. Installation of monitoring equipment and setup and programming of equipment.
6. Conduct routine preventive maintenance service, inspections, and equipment health analysis.
7. Testing of solid state circuitry and monitoring devices to find defective issues and make corrective action.
8. Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
9. Trouble shoot customer service issues via phone and/or email and note in job file.
Skills and Specifications:
1. Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
2. Ability to effectively use electronic devices and testers.
3. Must understand basic AC/DC electricity.
4. Should be able to test, calibrate, diagnose, and repair various devices.
5. Ability to exercise excellent independent judgment.
6. Ability to establish and maintain solid working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
7. Excellent time management skills.
8. Flexibility and a great attitude are a must in this position.
9. Ability and desire to tackle new projects, learn new skills, and enjoy challenges.
Working conditions and hours:
1. PTI is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5pm – however, this position does require some travel to include several overnight stays. Most weekends off – however, occasional weekend and overnight work may be required based on the customer’s project requirements.
Education and Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma
2. Electronics Technology Degree or equivalent in similar field preferred.
