Duties
- Design, develop, and test integrated mechatronic systems combining mechanical components with electronic controls and software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met.
- Implement safety protocols in accordance with industry standards and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems, troubleshooting issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Oversee the installation, calibration, and maintenance of automated machinery, ensuring compliance with safety standards including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) use.
- Lead initiatives for process improvements by analyzing system performance data and implementing innovative solutions.
- Participate in heavy lifting activities when required, following safety procedures to prevent injury during equipment handling or installation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in designing and integrating mechanical systems with electronic controls within manufacturing environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with an understanding of automation and control systems.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and safety standards in production settings.
- Knowledge of GMP regulations and best practices for maintaining high-quality production standards.
- Ability to operate heavy lifting equipment safely when required for equipment installation or maintenance tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting technical issues.
