Position: Stocker / Janitor
Job Summary:
BDMart is looking for a dependable and hardworking Stocker / Janitor to help maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked store. This position plays an important role in providing customers with a safe, clean, and enjoyable shopping experience.
Responsibilities
Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with merchandise throughout the day.
Rotate products using the First In, First Out (FIFO) method to ensure freshness and minimize expired products.
Keep stockrooms, walk-in coolers, and storage areas clean, organized, and easy to access.
Refill beverage coolers and ensure all products are faced and neatly displayed.
Remove expired or damaged merchandise and notify management of low inventory.
Sweep, mop, and maintain clean floors throughout the store.
Clean and sanitize customer and employee restrooms regularly.
Empty trash cans inside and outside the store and replace trash liners as needed.
Keep parking lot, sidewalks, and store entrance free of litter and debris.
Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing incoming merchandise.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
Perform other cleaning and stocking duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Strong attention to detail and organization.
Previous stocking or janitorial experience is preferred but not required.
Expectations
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and employees.
Ensure merchandise is fully stocked, properly rotated, and attractively displayed.
Take pride in keeping all store areas—including stockrooms, coolers, restrooms, floors, parking lot, and trash areas—clean and organized at all times.
Pay: From $10.00 per hour
