ARISE is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with a young boy 10 yrs old in the Syracuse/Camillus, NY area. We are looking for a dedicated individual who is energetic, open-minded, respectful and dedicated staff to engage in activities with him in the community.
The DSP will assist him in developing social skills, learning to complete his ADLs, Teach him safety skills. DSP will assist/ “hands on” him with overall health, safety, and daily living activities. Also Providing 1:1 service to ensure his safety
Hours After school - Flexible days 4pm to 7pm. Weekends hours can be discussed
Looking for roughly 10 to 15 hours per week at $26 per hour.
We are seeking individuals who are reliable, patient, enthusiastic, and able to work independently. Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Reliable transportation is required. A background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check will be completed prior to hire through the non‑profit agency.
