Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of deli items with attention to quality, presentation, and food safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and upselling products to enhance their experience
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area, including food handling and kitchen sanitation practices
- Support quick service operations in a fast-paced environment by managing multiple tasks seamlessly while ensuring customer satisfaction
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or retail environments is preferred, especially within quick service or fast food restaurants
- Culinary experience or background in the food industry is a plus, demonstrating knowledge of food handling and sanitation procedures
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Experience in cashiering, serving, or grocery store operations that involve cash handling and basic math skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices in a restaurant or café setting
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining high standards of customer service
