Position: Bridge Carpenter
Location: Southeastern Pa, South Jersey, Delaware
Job Description:
Road-Con is seeking skilled Bridge Carpenters to join our team. This position requires physical activities such as bending, climbing, kneeling, and periodically lifting items up to 50 pounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build rough structures and brace concrete forms with timbers, tie rods, and anchor bolts.
- Cut materials to specified measurements.
- Work at heights and close proximity to traffic.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely to complete job tasks.
- Build and strip prefabricated or built form work.
- Tie rebar, place concrete, and finish concrete as needed.
Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical activities such as bending, climbing, kneeling, and lifting items up to 50 pounds.
- Experience with building rough structures and concrete forms.
- Valid driver's license (CDL and/or DOT medical card may be required).
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to work safely at heights and near/in traffic.
- Plan reading and understanding a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in bridge construction or related fields.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
