Position Needed: A self-motivated candidate to fill our Scale House Operator position.
Position Hours: Full-Time Monday - Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, and Saturday’s 7:30 am - 12:00 pm
Job Description:
- Greeting and assisting customers with questions at the Pay Window or over the phone.
- Entering all required customer information for all transactions into the scrap metal system.
- Enter customer weights and material being sold into the scrap metal system.
- Ensure all necessary documents are reviewed and collected per company and State requirements.
- Prepare and issue payment to customer.
- Small office tasks when required.
Qualifications:
- Ensuring that customer service is the #1 priority.
- Prepared to serve customers with a positive attitude at all times.
- Previous experience in customer service and cash handling required.
- Experience in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment.
- Team player with professional work ethics.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Proficient with basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be able to demonstrate on-time attendance, dependability, and consistency.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required.
Compensation:
Paid, on-site training.
