Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule: Days 3*12 (7:00 AM-7:30 PM)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and provide nursing care to emergency patients.
- Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Assist with conscious sedation procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Respond quickly and effectively to medical emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN or ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience.
- Experience with:
- IV insertion
- Phlebotomy
- Conscious sedation
- Active New York State RN License.
- Primary Source Verification of License and Registration through the New York State Department of Education (NYSED).
Required Certifications
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Pay: $2,879.80 - $2,928.70 per week
