Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, following established recipes and presentation standards
- Develop and suggest beverage recipes to enhance the guest experience and promote sales
- Handle cash transactions efficiently while processing payments accurately and managing tabs with POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in food handling, serving, and catering events such as banquets to ensure seamless service delivery
- Engage with guests to promote specials, upsell menu items, and create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality industry roles, including fine dining or casual settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Demonstrated proficiency in beverage preparation, mixology, wine knowledge, spirits experience, and beverage recipe development
- Ability to manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management skills
- Familiarity with food safety standards, basic math for cash handling, retail math for sales transactions, and food industry best practices
- Experience with banquet or catering events is a plus but not required
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and fellow servers/bartenders
