The Canon Law Society of America has an immediate opening for a fulltime, non-exempt Membership Coordinator, who will provide a full range of customer-focused support to CLSA members, Board, staff, and consultants in addition to providing administrative support.
Duties
- Provide professional-level customer care on the phone, in emails and web contact forms
- Process and troubleshoot publications orders, dues payments and donations
- Update CLSA website
- Create materials for members including newsletters, convention materials and other publications
- Provide administrative support including updating Board and committee materials, creating correspondence, tracking inventory and royalties, managing archives, conducting research, preparing reports, and maintaining office equipment and supplies
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience or combination of college-level coursework and related experience
Experience and Other Elements
- One to three years of relevant experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and videoconferencing applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Website management experience, membership database/CMS experience, and/or familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- Occasional overnight travel may be required
- Knowledge of the Catholic church and comfort working with Church hierarchy
