Role, Responsibilities & qualifications:
- 3 years of culinary experience in high volume kitchen preferred but willing to train the right candidate with at least 2 year of experience.
- Passionate about quality standards and willing to uphold and enforce those standards in a high-volume environment.
- Possess the ability to prepare and cook product to menu specifications and precisely follow recipes as well as an understanding of basic measuring conversions.
- Possess basic cooking temperature knowledge. (Ability to cook fish, beef, pork, and chicken to proper final temperatures).
- Ability to remember product combinations and execute them to order. Ensure that all sanitation standards are met.
- Motivated self-starter with a guest centric attitude and mindset.
- Possess written and verbal communication skills that promote positive and productive team work environment.
- Dependable, punctual, presentable, organized and task-oriented self-starter
- Ability to understand and adhere to food safety and sanitation protocols as well as company policies and procedures.
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours at a time.
- Ability to carry, push, and pull 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.
- Current food handler’s card.
- Ability to fill out and execute daily checklists consisting of food preparation, daily cleaning, and weekly deep cleaning tasks.
- A means of transportation to the job location.
