Amrit Ocean Resort & Residences is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead all purchasing, receiving, and inventory operations. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this position plays a key role in ensuring the resort receives quality products and services at competitive pricing while maintaining inventory controls, vendor relationships, and compliance with company standards.
Responsibilities

Manage purchasing for all resort departments.

Negotiate pricing and maintain strong vendor relationships.

Oversee receiving, storeroom operations, and inventory control.

Monitor inventory levels and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Review purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documentation.

Partner with department leaders to support operational needs.

Supervise Purchasing and Receiving team members.

Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of purchasing experience in a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment.

Strong knowledge of purchasing, receiving, inventory management, and vendor negotiations.

Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospitality purchasing/inventory systems.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Degree in Business, Hospitality, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.

CPM, CPSM, or similar certification is a plus.
