We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Front Desk/Sales Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, supporting daily sales operations, and ensuring and organized, efficient front-of-house enviroment. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, basic product knowledge (or willingness to learn), and thrives in a fast-paced retail/wholesale setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers, contractors and vendors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Assist customer with product inquiries, pricing and order placement.
- Provide basic material guidance (training provided)
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS and invoicing systems.
- Answer direct phone calls; take messages and respond to inquiries.
- Maintain an organized and clean counter, showroom and display area.
- Assist with inventory, including checking stock availability and coordinating with warehouse staff.
- Communicate with drivers, warehouse staff to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
- Help coordinate deliveries, pickups and customer orders.
- Follow company safety procedures and support a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, retail or building materials is preferred (roofing or construction supply experience is a plus).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency (POS systems, invoicing software, email and spreadsheets).
- Reliable, punctual and team-oriented.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish).
