Experienced Line Cook — 100 Proof Hospitality, Idaho Falls
We run three restaurants within a few blocks of each other downtown. We are looking for an experienced line cook who wants real volume, real technique, and a kitchen that runs the same way every service.
This is not an entry-level posting. We want someone who has already worked a busy line and does not need to be taught what mise en place means.
Where you would work
- The SnakeBite — our highest-volume house. 290+ tabs on a Friday. Scratch kitchen, full bar, always moving.
- Park & A Italia — scratch Italian. Pasta, sauces, technique.
- XVIII — upscale small plates and a members' cigar program. Precision work, fewer covers.
We will place you where your skills fit best. If you want to learn all three, we will get you there.
What you will do
- Own your station through a full service — prep, execution, and breakdown
- Cook to spec on every plate, every time
- Hold your own on a busy Friday without dropping ticket times
- Keep your station clean and your cooler organized and rotated
- Follow food safety and temperature standards without being reminded
- Communicate on the line — call it back, call it out, keep the window moving
- Help train newer cooks as you grow with us
What we are looking for
- 2+ years on a professional line, full-service preferred
- Comfortable on saute, grill, or fry — and willing to learn the others
- Knife skills you do not have to think about
- You show up on time, in uniform, ready to work
- You handle a rush without losing composure or quality
- Able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs
- Food Handler's card, or willing to get one before your first shift
- Evening and weekend availability
Nice to have
- Scratch pasta or sauce experience
- Banquet or catering volume
- Experience opening or closing a kitchen on your own
