Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, voice, and communication disorders across diverse populations, including pediatrics and geriatrics. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for patients of all ages, including early intervention for pediatric populations and assessments for geriatric patients.
- Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each patient’s specific needs and goals.
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques to improve speech clarity, language comprehension, voice quality, fluency, and social communication skills.
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care and effective communication strategies.
- Utilize EMR/EHR systems to document assessments, treatment progress, and patient outcomes accurately.
- Provide patient education on communication strategies, swallowing safety (when applicable), and home practice exercises to reinforce therapy goals.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care plans for patients with complex needs or disabilities.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Experience working with children in pediatric settings such as schools or early intervention programs is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of speech therapy techniques for individuals with speech impairments across various conditions.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech and swallowing functions.
- Proven ability to perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations and develop effective treatment plans.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or communication disorders in diverse environments.
- Familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms and experience delivering remote services is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient care.

Pay: $35.00 - $48.00 per hour
