OCCI, Inc. seeks a Senior Accountant to join our team and contribute the following:
Primary Duties:
- Lead all aspects of company fixed asset accounting;
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated monthly financial reports, including cash flow projections;
- Assist with analytical projects for Executive Management
- Assist and review internal billings, allocations, accruals, and projections of costs and revenue;
- Take an active role in month end and year end closing procedures, audits and reconciliations;
- Review Accountants’ journal entries for accuracy
- Review staff preparation of tax returns, including sales, use, payroll and real estate and personal property;
- Research tax rules and regulations to ensure Company compliance in a variety of venues in all aspects of Company financial obligations; file annual reports in various states;
- Assist with annual budget management and monthly forecasts;
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
5 – 7 years work experience in finance or accounting related position;
Experience in CPA firm, preferred
Experience with construction accounting strongly preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Proficient in computer technology / adept with learning software;
Excellent writing and communication skills
Strong organizational skills
