American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with at least 2 years of OR experience, including laparoscopic, endovascular, and breast oncology procedures, for a 13-week hospital assignment.

Full-time, 40-hour work week in a hospital operating room setting

Day shift hours from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday

On-call required 2–3 days per week and every other weekend
-
8-hour shifts

Minimum of 2 years of OR experience in a U.S. hospital

NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
-
BLS certification required (AHA only)

Hands-on experience with laparoscopic hiatal hernia, endovascular, and breast oncology procedures required

High school diploma required

Active license with no pending status required, if applicable

U.S. SSN required for consideration

Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

Date of birth required for consideration

Strong communication skills

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Plan and prepare for surgical procedures and assist the surgeon throughout

Responsible for sterilization of surgical equipment and assembly of scheduled and emergency case carts

Copies of all certifications (AHA only) must be included for consideration
