Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lawn Maintenance Technician to join our outdoor grounds team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful, healthy landscapes across various properties by performing routine lawn care, landscaping (No Hardscaping), and grounds maintenance tasks. Your expertise will help ensure outdoor spaces are safe, attractive, and well-kept, contributing to the overall aesthetic and functionality of our clients’ properties. Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, power tools, with precision and safety in mind.
- Perform mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, to uphold landscape design standards.
- Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and pests to ensure proper plant health management.
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols and environmental regulations. (Once licensed and trained if interested)
- Conduct softscaping maintenance tasks including trimming and landscape bed maintenance including mulching.
- Follow all safety procedures diligently while working outdoors on uneven terrain or with heavy equipment such as excavators or grounds maintenance machinery.
Experience
- Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance is preferred.
- Driver's license and experience pulling landscape trailers or similar is extremely important.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems related to lawn care equipment and landscape tools is essential.
- Familiarity with horticulture principles, plant identification, and pest management techniques is highly desirable.
- Experience operating power tools and grounds equipment such as excavators or snow plows will be advantageous.
- Construction or hardscape experience can be beneficial for certain projects involving landscape features or site improvements but not necessary.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety protocol adherence is required.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
